even though its newar completion, thought id start an nme_baseout thread for any last minute ideas/suggestions/etc.
the current major quanundrum(sp?)

is...:
1) two forward tunnels going into the front towers from inside the front of the base, so u dont have to either maxe back thru the fr, or run outside
and
2) flagroom additions to help the defense out a lil bit. the current suggestion are the placement of some half-height catwalks/ledges on the front wall of the flagroom so accomodate for sg placement, etc.

I think "X" took lessons from
Escher. I always get lost in the NME map. It seems all routes going up take you to the 1st level and all routes leading down take you to the sniper deck. I can't even get the flag out of the flag room cuz I'll exit one side of the fr and re-enter from the opposite side only to be killed.

Thought I'd post a screenshot of what the new tunnels may look like that boat mentioned in the above post.

Sorry to revive this thread....but is anywhere(aside from the server)...such as a FTP....hosting a copy of the zip copy of the official release? I clicked the link Boat provided above, but it's gone.

Thank you muchly! I've given the link to the owner of "Chip's Funhouse", they run a bunch of custom maps. I can't wait to see them give it a try....I know most of its secrets.

Anyone know if Player-X will try converting this masterpiece over to Fortress Forever? I'd love to see it source-ified.

Any chance of finding a working link to this map? I'd love to play it again.
