MATRIX Menagerie
MATRIX Menagerie
May 15, 2003 - Matrix Reloaded will rock your world with never before seen stunts and visual effects as Neo, Trinity, Morpheus and crew take on the evil machines and Agent Smith once again to save Zion. Evil Twins (surprise! in white, not black) also pose as tough-as-nails opponents of the human fighters. This will not disappoint, as it will also set the scene for Matrix Revolutions, the trilogy finale, which will be released around Thanksgiving 2003. Whoa...

Flight of the Osiris
Woohoo!!! Less than two months away! And you can see a digitally created animation based on The Matrix called "Flight of the Osiris" (10 mins.) if you see the new movie "Dreamcatcher." It's supposed to be better than "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within." If you see it, please share your feelings here.

They are releasing 9 or 10 short animations this year with all on a DVD coming out when the new movie does.
Go to: http://www.intothematrix.com and you can download 2 of the episodes now and they are releasing 2 more for free in the coming months. I checked them out this weekend and they were pretty cool. I don't think the one you mentioned is one that you can get right now. The first one is about the birth of the AI robots and their rebelling against humans. The 2nd one takes place in one of the training programs they have in the movie. They are about 10 minutes in length and around 150 Mb for the largest resolution.

Cool! Yeah, I've been to that site, too.
I would have put more info in here, but with the exception of you, no one has replied, so I thought no one likes the movies. I find them pretty cool. Inspiring in some ways. Besides that, the action and effects are out of this world.
I will be waiting for T3, too. Good year for science fiction, eh?

Hey it's all good to talk to yourself. See the college football thread as an example
.
I really liked T2, but I'm skeptical on T3. I'm sure I'll see it, but I don't have high hopes.
But there are a few movies I can't wait for such as both Matrix movies and the new LOTR:ROTK. I'm currently reading that book now. Xmen 2 will be one to see as well.

Oh yeah, I forgot about X-Men 2. I dig Storm.
Yeah, I don't know if T-3 can live up to T-2, but I think it will be entertaining. I hope it will prove us wrong and have some good stuff. Terminator humor is great.
LOTR: ROTK is a definite. My wife and I can't wait to see it. She curses the studios for not releasing the three movies closer to each other. So do I. Even the Matrix movies this year will be 6 months apart only. But I understand they went back to re-film some scenes, added new scenes and had more post-production stuff, so it's cool.
When are they going to have another Lost in Space movie???

Here's a link to the trailer for the Enter the Matrix video game. I think I will have to get this, just b/c it explains stuff not in the movies if for no other reason. It does look like it might be a cool game too though!

What will they call people like me in the future? You know, the Trekkies of Matrix.
