they look the same to me...you two sure youre not running a smaller resolution and the picture is nested w/in the post and creating its own horizontal scroll bars...? :P

dang noobs, what resolution yall running at? i didnt get it to crop until i windowed it and shrunk it to like half my screen space, yeesh! :pbt:

I'm running 1680x1050 here at work. An extended desktop across two 22" widescreens. Of course I don't run my browser full screen so that might be it.

EDIT: Yup, if I go full screen on my browser then the picture in the barn isn't cropped. Mystery solved. :)

I have two phpbb3 forums and this is the first time I have ever seen it autosize a offsite image. Maybe the skin your using?

Yea, its been changed in later versions. With yours it is set this way so that if someone posts a monster img file it want blow out the right column. That can be a good thing, but bad for us viewing on a 19" monitor while at work.

The newer versions have fixed width on img files, BUT, if you dont go and change the image file width in the ACP from 0 x 0 to something like 1024 x 1024 it will blow out the right side to accommodate their big pic. Then its a mess for us with a little monitor. Then your have a scroll bar at the bottom.

The newer versions are a bit better but more work for the admin.

The good with the bad. :D
