Solaris 10 Review by OSNews

It made me feel like I want to stay away from Solaris 10. :-?
Give me liberty, or I may well give you death.

 looks just like my solaris 7 desktop. personally i don't give a crap what my desktop looks like as long as i have all the available apps to accomplish the task at hand.

i'm not sure what took him so long to get up and running. i've had complete installs of version 5 and 7 up and running in 30 minutes or less. maybe he just isn't familiar with solaris.

i'm not pro or con for version 10 since i've never tried it, but i wouldn't let a review like this scare me away from a free os.

...now if they can just get xfs packaged in there. ;)
