 @ deja vu! Sorry dude, but I probably see movies as often as I watch TV. I think the last movie I saw was "Lilo and Stitch".... nope, make that "Harry Potter and the Secret Chamber". If it weren't for Jason I'd probably see even fewer films.

I like to wait until movies are on DVD so I can watch them at home and enjoy them with a beer or cigar. The problem is by the time they are released on DVD I forget what the heck it was I wanted to watch... so you guys just keep throwing titles at me. 8)

Well, I've heard of this movie about a lady named Debbie doing something in Dallas. Itt's before my time, but I would suspect it's now on DVD. Think it's an action movie, some chick doing Kung Fu or something like that.

Hmmm.. guess it's time to rent the first one. Unless of course the movies follow the books closely. I've read all the books several times. 8)

Please do rent the first. Nothing can outdo the book coupled with the mind, but seeing it is very cool. They keep fairly close to the book. Mainly parts shortened here and there, but the good parts ARE there. It's got some mushy/"how romantic" parts that weren't in the book. Hope you got a big screen TV and audio system, because it's great with a big view and big sound. Enjoy, my friend!

I don't have a big screen tv (only 27"), but my surround system rattles the house off the foundation. :ggrin:

Coolio! I got a 27" TV, too. Get ready to shake, rattle and roll then because that's what the heads are doin' in the flick!

Oh yea, Its a fine movie.

I also got Blackhawk Down as a gift the other day, and I really enjoyed it much better the second time.

DVD Feedback:

Minority Report: been there, done that, did it better - don't bother. Tom Cruise had a huge nose and bigger teeth...and they still look goofy.

K-19: Excellent human drama. Highly recommended.

Changing Lanes: Another good one, if a little trite at the end. But I can forgive the last 15 minutes of wrapping everything up in a shiny bow for the lovely mess the rest of the movie makes. If you liked "Falling Down", try it.

K-19, is that a new rating for movies in the States now?

Changing Lanes. Hmmm, something about Lane Bryant clothing...

Falling Down. That's the new drama about Winona Ryder, right?

8)

Seriously, I've never heard of these. Are they Indie movies?
