Am I the only one who thought that movie was A) a cheap, moralistic rip-off if "Independance Day" and B) 2 hours of life that I would like returned?

I did like the part where Mel Gibson was debating about swearing or not and asking Joaquin Phoenix how he should act angry. Otherwise... umm...

Heh heh, yeah that was good.

Oh, I guess if that happened to me, and I was Mel, I'd be dead, because I'd have told my daughter to get all those dang half-empty glasses of water in the kitchen, or to use one glass. I guess I would have had to just pee at the alien. LOL Take that, you!

Anybody see the extras on DVD, because I'd like to hear what the writer/director/producer dude was thinking. I watched the extras for his other movies, and they gave some good insight.

Um, if you have to see the commentary to get the feel of the movie, just admit it, it sucked.

It may have, but the guy sure got a lot of people to watch it. When it came out it did well in the box office. I guess it was the hype.

Here's a quote: "Whoa!"

I think you're right, but I'm thinking of a different movie. Try again.

Keanau Reeves: :x

ooooh! He's cute! He's handsome! :!: He's a heart throb! :moon: but he SUCKS as an actor!

I mean he was average in "Dracula" (a stunningly, erotically done rendition of Bram Stokers famous story) (with one of my Favorite of all times actors that I adore and love and have a huge crush on and am a huge fan of: GARY OLDMAN,) because if Keanau screwed THAT :o movie up I'd have to kick his butt....
:x

Speaking of Gary Oldman I first fell in love with him in "Sid & Nancy".

It was such a serious crush, that even now, my heart skips a beat when I think about it.

*sigh* :pbt:

Right on Mythie!

Any Keanu Reeves movie... almost any at least.

If I was back in VA, I'd probably chill with ya eating nachos, and watching DVDs.

Ah... which reminds me, I need to see TTT, soon.

Hmm... I dunno. Don't remember that quote.

A clue, perhaps?
