What's the worst movie you have ever seen?

Post by PapaNoel » Sat Aug 10, 2002 9:53 pm

Lori and I were discussing :agrue: this, and we thought it would make for some interesting responses...

What's the worst movie you have ever seen. So appalingly bad, that you were angry at the producer for stealing 2 hours of your life? :bad-words: Attack of the Killer Tomatos? Zardoz? The Blob (Lori's choice)? Lost in Space (tho I thought the robot was pretty cool...)? Or my choice for biggest waste of celluloid, The Avengers? :fist:

Come on, NME - Shout your thoughts to the world! Or, just tell the rest of us...

Well hells bells! "Night of The Lepus" shouts slit my wrists! It stars DeForest Kelley and it about huge mutated rabbits. Look it up if you dare!!!

Godzilla, Lost in Space, and Rollerball.

All were HORRIBLE. Butt hurters for sure. (you know when the movie is so awful, all you can think about is how much your butt hurts from the seats)

I can't believe I even saw those. Barf.

Godzilla? You mean the American one from a few years back, with Ferris Bueller in the lead? Oh, man...

I saw that at the naval station in Guantanamo Bay. They have an outdoor theater there, kinda like a drive in, but it's a walk in. They show free movies nightly.

The place was packed, and there were six of us that went. Every time Godzilla appeared on screen, all siz of us would stand up and shout "Rook! Godzirra!!! AAYYYIIIEEE!!!" By the time the movie was over, we had the entire audience doing it. I laughed so hard that night my sides hurt for the next two days

ROFL. I might have enjoyed Godzilla that way.

All movies I mentioned are the versions that were released in the past 5 years. Never saw the originals. Never will. I mean, if you can see strings, come on. I have some standards.

My choice right now would have to be Dune. I saw it years ago and it was incredibly boring. Maybe I was too young, but I think it was probably just a bad movie.

:bad-words: Dune was a complete mess, and a horrible mangling of a great book.

There is hope, however - The SciFi Channel's Dune miniseries was much truer to the book, and, I thought, very well done, especially for a tv movie. You should check it out at Blockbuster. :fadein:

Good call Papa. I was going to mention that. I think the mini series is called Dune 2000.

Nope - it's "Frank Herbert's Dune" and "stars" William Hurt - I put quotes around stars because , as Duke Leto, he takes a dirt nap early on...but he's the big name star of the production, so he got top billing...

If you have a DVD player, there's a special extended version that just came out with 30 minutes of stuff that didn't make the broadcast version... :D Ya gotta love DVD

That line was from they live.

The worst movie I've ever watched was : DEAD MAN starring Johnny Depp. To watch it for free is a waste of money.

Did any one need an Air Sick Bag for "Night of the Living Dead"?

Or a bucket for Monsier for, "Alien 3"?

Why did they have to MURDER a good thing?
