Go Get Willie

Post by boat » Mon Jun 30, 2003 7:50 pm

not to be outdone by nyth, i have a coupla buddies that have a band, if anyone's interested...

http://www.gogetwillie.com/

you can samples their tunes under 'Music' ...have some live stuff and 'studio' stuff. theyre all encoded at a lower bitrate, and i htink the live stuff was recorded mono with a mini-cd recorder, so the sound is so-so. like nyth said, if anyone's interested inhearing more, i can probably get a compilation or sumn from them, or rip some to mp3 to share/download.

my main connection is the drummer (went to school with) and i used to be a 'soundman' of sorts at their jams/practices during earlier incarnations of his band(s), and i have a coupla reels lying around that i need to convert as well, when i get a chance and if anyones still interested :P

enjoy :D

btw nyth, they usually (at least have been fora lil while now) been playing at Dixies Tavern every wednesday, iffins ur interested...dont look like theyre playing there soon, from there schedule though

Not bad. I thought I had d/l the Oh Brother soundtrack. :D

Where is Dixie's Tavern?

And in case you didn't see the pop-up, Red Metric is having their cd release party at Hoopla's on the 4th. I will most likely be there. :P

LOL T-Bone. I thought it was a reference to Monica Lewinsky's memoirs. :o
