How can I dl it? At home I was able to play it (a window popped up with I guess a QuickTime player), but I wasn't able to save it; just only save the webpage.

Help!

Right-click the link. Left click "Save Target As". Then select the folder you want it in! C:\NME for me!

It must be an XP thing, because there's no "Save Target as...", but there is a "Save Link Target as...". When I use that I can only save it as a .php file, which I don't know which program to use. Help, again!

I don't get it, because I've been able to save files from the Barn before. I'm puzzled.

i still think there should be some kinda "save target as" dialog after right clicking... does it start downloading/playing into any kinda media player after just clickin on it? if so, could let it finish transfering, the "file>save/save as" :-?

"Save link target as" sounds correct. The default file type may be .php but you should be able to save it as any file name you want. Just put your cursor in the text box and edit the file name using the correct extension.

Cool, thanks you two. I tried it and it works, T.

I used to just be able to save them as "save file" instead of "save link target." boat, were the Barn's settings changed late last year, or T-Bone, do you think it might be certain Mozilla settings? Curious.

Thank you again for your help.

I look forward to hearing how you downloaded it at work, Cobie.

...its not the barn, its either ur system or browser. cause i can "save target as..." ...it must just be a new wording for mozilla or sumfin...though the link for the download isnt a direct link, it gets parsed thru php, ie..."normally" it would be like http;//boat.org/song.mp3, but since it uses indexing type things and gets parsed thru php it looks like http;//boat.org/download.php?id=123, where 123 is the id assigned to the uploaded file. so i assume its related...have you tried rightclicking and "save target as" for any other files (not on the barn) to compare?

:)

I think it's because "save as" will now save the entire page (HTML) itself where as "save link target" will save only the file the link is pointed at.

I thought one day I could escape those two songs. I stand corrected.

How about some Xanadu, anyone???
