Classic cars and Trucks

Post by PsychoMissy » Sat Sep 21, 2002 1:02 am

I'm into classic cars and trucks

I'm in the market to buy!!!

Like the 1948 Chevy pick-up I've had my eye on for a year now - I'll find a pic and post soon.

Anyone know anyone that likes to build/restore old cars/truck?

I'd like to go to tech school to learn - help me out - give me car/truck feedback

lets see, i can change the oil, filters, fluids, spark plugs, valve cover gasket, distributer cap, and set the timing, and rotate the tires on an old '87 celica...does that count? :pbt:

when does an auto reach "classic" status?...isnt it something like 20 years? :-?

yeah, i htink T is right...check with Kabong...i think he's into that kinda stuff...Cobra might be as well  :pbt:

There's an old car here for sale. I think an old Dodge. Looks like about a '40s era car. Light blue, and in fair condition. Didn't notice rust, but then again I just passed it by several times. Don't know how it runs or the interior condition. I'll check it out soon.

That's a Hokie fan right there! If not, they are but don't know it yet.

Mr. Hanky says GO HOKIES!

Hokies? Sorry, I didn't get the connection between pick-up trucks and Hokies. Is this a subliminal message for the Hokie Booster Club?

Heh heh. :)

Check the colors of that first truck. Then go look up VT's school colors! (hint: Chicago Maroon and Burnt Orange)

Bronze isn't orange, but that sure as heck looks like a Hokie's car to me. 8)

That truck would definitely be a hit in the tailgating lots in Blacksburg!

Whoa Nellie!!! Are you hinting that people in Chicago are maroons and you have a deep hatred for Florida football teams, hence the burnt orange by cleverly masking your feelings in a comparison between trucks and VT Colors?

Heh heh... J/K. :agrue:
