Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Post by [NME]T-Bone » Wed Nov 10, 2010 10:46 am

Amnesia is a pretty cool indie survival horror. I just finished it yesterday after having purchased it during the steam halloween sale. It's worth the $20 full price even though it's a 10 - 12 hour game. You can get the game from steam, gamer's gate, direct2drive, and a few other places. So, crank up the head phones and turn off the lights and get ready for a spooky game.

Oh, almost forgot to mention... you have no weapons of any kind. Your only options during an encounter are to run or hide. I know it sounds like a deal breaker, but it's not. Also, you need to play at night or in a dark room. Headphones are optional, but can make it scarier.

Well, this game is supposed to be better than prenumbra... and if I can solve these puzzles then anyone can. They weren't difficult at all.

Now I see steam is selling Sniper: Ghost Warrior for 50% off on their weekend sale. For $15 I'm tempted to buy it.
