Free TF2 weekend for anyone that doesn't have it. You can preload it here.

Doh, sorry. I just got back from myrtle beach this weekend. According to steam news, they've lowered the required achievemnets for the medic to match that of pyro.

The way it was before is there are 36 medic achievemnets. After getting 12 of them, you get the new syringe gun, after the next 12, you get the new medi-gun, after the last 12 you get the uber-saw. Once you have the new weapons, you can switch between them at the loadout screen.

Anyhow, check the achievements list from the menu. You can change the dropdown list from "all achievements", to medic or pyro achievements.

I currently have the blutsauger (new syringe gun) that takes away health from the enemy with each hit and gives it to you. It has no crit hits. I also have the new medigun which has a 20% faster uber charge and allows the person you uber 100% crit hits, however you and the person you uber are NOT invincible.

I do not have the uber saw, but it gives extra damage and fills 25% of your uber gauge on a succesful kill.

Oh, and I found a link for pyro. His regular weapon now has air blast too.

yeah, i had been checking on that hw site.

was able to hop on for a few last night (didnt get to try arena mode though :? ), and there didnt seem to be a huge influx of heavies...thought the one time/cap point that we could have used 1 or 2 heavies, we didnt have any! so from that point on til i called it an evening i tried my hand at hw, which wasnt easy cause homeboy moves a little too slow for my tastes :P i was kritzkrieged a few times as heavy though, and just 'wow' :pbt:

hrmmm... i was on for about 25 minutes last night while jason was in the shower and there were lots of heavies. the sandvich had me cracking up. natasha has sort of a muffled sound compared to sasha... and no, i didn't play heavy.
