no favicon here. i think you dunnit wrong hoss. try adding this between the <head> tags.

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="my-favicon.ico">

the .ico file can be named anything you want.

werks for me, thats y i was askin :-? its only in the webroot...

maybe thats y :?: :-? though it still shows up on the barn page too for me :oops:

oh - and i didnt edit any html/php files...jsut stuck the file in the root :-?

it didn't work in webroot for me :-? . i just checked your html for that link... no , <link rel="shortcut icon"....> tag found. usually, the favicon will only show for the page you inserted the tag on.

then y is it showing up for myth and i!? :-? :oops: :lol: :P my error log was shoing the 404 error or whatever for favicon.ico from several people, thats what prompted me to throw one up there :-?

i dunno. if you use moz or firefox, hit ctrl-u to view the html. what browser you & myth using? see my home and see if you see the favicon, then hit ctrl-u to see my html.

I'm using firefox at both home and work. I have 1.0 at work, but haven't upgraded at home yet for some reason. It is showing up as I type at work. Not sure what it's supposed to be though. :-? :?:

hrm, i dont see any at work (using firefox 0.9.1)...see em at home though, firefox 1.0. does it actually have to be bookmarked for it to showup? :-?

i use firefox 1.0. It does not need to be bookmarked. The favicon should show up next to the URL and if you have the window open in a tab, it usually puts the favicon on the tab also. In fact, if you bookmark the page, it usually puts the favicon in the bookmark also, unless you turned it off via going into about:config.

Were you able to see mine?
