Re: nme tf2/ff server(s) down

i tried both. the freebsd one is pretty smart and doesnt take any configuring. i probably could have installed ubuntu last and then configured grub to see freebsd, but it was getting late and i was getting frustrated :P it seems as though freebsd doesnt have ext3 support, but it does have ext2 suppo...

Re: nme tf2/ff server(s) down

well...after multiple linux and freebsd reinstalls last nite, i think the problem ive been having with linux not wanting to load, had to do with the boot managers not liking ext3...it sees it, but wont boot it, der. well i could use lilo or grub, but freebsd's boot manager is a set it and forget it ...

Re: nme tf2/ff server(s) down

Re: nme tf2/ff server(s) down

not yet. since i already have xp on it and its a 250G hd, i decieded i wanted to go for a multi-boot, so i could have the best of both worlds, as needed (xp, linux, freebsd to be exact) :P ran into a slight hiccup when trying to resize the ntfs partition, but i eventually got it...think it had to do...

Re: TF2

no settings that i know of. all the classes just move slow overall...they really nerfed the player speeds/movement, in addition the fov is locked at 75, which probably attributes a little bit of the perceived slowness. so sorry to say, but i think its meant to be played that way. i think they sacrif...

Re: Fortress Forever

yeah, a few of us had that slanted point-of-view a few times too. reading some of the forums this morning, apparently running the server above a tic rate of 33 (they recommend running 33 on the forums so far), that weird stuff can happen, so maybe setting that lower may correct that. theyre still wo...

Re: Fortress Forever

Re: Battlefield 2

negative. the only expansion pack of any worth really is the special forces one, which gives you extra unlocks when you rank up...but defaults guns are bestest anyhoo! :P ;) the other add ons are called booster packs and really should have been free add-ons/patches imo (only add 3 maps each, and you...
